All donors to FHM will receive a thank you acknowledging their donation. For total annual donations of $500 or more, donors will receive a record of their giving for tax purposes by the end of January following the year of their gift(s).

Donations of Supplies
We regret we are NOT able to accept clothes, food, or water for shipment to Haiti.

We would greatly appreciate items from the list below, delivered to our Durham office at 2344 Operations Drive, for shipment to Haiti with upcoming medical relief and construction teams.

If possible, please pack items in sturdy cardboard boxes labeled with what is inside. Thank you!

  • powdered infant formula with iron
  • vitamins with iron for children AND adults(much needed!) (no "gummy" style, please, because of heat)
  • children's liquid acetaminophen
  • acetaminophen tablets for adults
  • antibiotic creams
  • children's liquid Benadryl
  • Benadryl tablets for adults
  • Tums/Rolaids/Tagamet/Zantac/Prilosec/Pepcid etc.(generics are welcome)
  • Eye lubricant drops for itchy eyes

  • reading glasses (no prescription glasses, please)

  • Dial antibacterial bar soap
  • moisturizer cream with Shea Butter
  • paper towels
  • brown lunch bags
  • zipper plastic bags (quart size)
  • large garbage bags (black)
  • AA batteries
  • suckers/lollipops
  • small stuffed toys or other small toys which are not hazardous for babies
