Opportunities for Collaboration

In September 2011, FHM began Phase 1 (Construction) of a centrally located healthcare center for the indigent. FHM has acquired land and plans are underway for the groundbreaking.

The Leogane Family Health Center is the response to a request from the community for help in lowering infant and maternal mortality. Public hospitals are more than an hour and thirty minutes away, making healthcare inaccessible to many.

The first phase of the project is for the construction of a critically needed surgery unit for emergency C-sections and neonatal care.
