Family Health Ministries supports a school for 600 students in grades pre-k through grade 13 in the southern mountain community of Fondwa. Funds to support the school are raised through the children's education and teacher sponsorship programs. 

The original school was destroyed in the January 2010 earthquake, but the students still need an education, the teachers need salaries, and they all need our love and support. After the earthquake, FHM continued to pay teachers salaries until the school restarted in late spring. School continued throughout the summer months to make up for the time lost. More than 18 months later, FHM continues to support the school, its teachers, and the students of the community. Sponsorship is critical to the survival of this community.

Students are attending class in temporary building and in tents, pictured above. Plans are progressing or the new school. Designs of the school are below.
